 STORY OF BANSI

Bansi Group, a third-generation family business, began its journey with S. Ananthaswamy in the erstwhile Travancore Kingdom. Starting from humble beginnings, Ananthaswamy skill in crafting handicrafts led him and his brother to establish a thriving handicraft business. The business expanded to Calcutta with his partner, Mr. Bansi Lal, but was tragically lost during the partition riots in 1947. Ananthaswamy named his son A. Bansi to honor the memory of his partner Bansi Lal.
A. Bansi, a Kerala University Gold Medallist and Chartered Accountant, joined the family business in 1974, infusing it with his expertise and passion. He significantly expanded the operations, moving to Ernakulam in 1998 and establishing the Bansi Group headquarters in Kochi. Under his leadership, the company became a pioneer in paper distribution in Kerala.
Today, the Bansi Group continues to thrive under the guidance of the current CEO, Arvind Bansi, maintaining its legacy of excellence and innovation with an annual turnover exceeding 300 crores. The company remains dedicated to meeting global demands and excelling as a foremost supplier of paper and paper products worldwide.
